Acceptable Materials
The following Paper products are acceptable materials for recycling in most markets:
** All recycling products except for cardboard and clean boxes MUST be in clear bags only. Non Transparent bags will not be taken.**
- Newspaper and inserts
- Magazines and catalogs
- Cardboard, including clean empty pizza boxes
- Paper boxes (cereal, cracker, pasta, tissue, shoe, gift, etc.)
- Junk mail and office paper
- Telephone directories and books of any type
- Files and folders
- Envelopes of any type
- Gift wrapping
The following Plastic and Metal products are acceptable for recycling in most markets:
- Household cleaning supply containers (containers must be emptied and rinsed, and caps must be removed. Labels are acceptable)
- Empty metal cans
- #1 and #2 plastics (rinsed)
- Milk cartons and drink boxes
- Glass bottles (Must be in clear bags to be deemed recyclable.)
